Daily, 24 Hour Testing Program: STAT request is one which all possible speed and prioritization is used to analyze and report test to a physician who requires the information to make an urgent patient care decision. Results for tests that are ordered STAT are available within 4 hours of notification for courier pick-up or within 2 hours of receipt by our lab. The ordering physician will be contacted as soon as testing is completed.
